Craft*folK is based in South Wales and we have been organising our own traditional art, craft, food and drink events for the past 17 years. We will be able to give you first hand advice about hiring our stalls and even tried and tested tips towards organising your own events. Details below will help you formulate your requirements options. Stall Specification and Descriptions Two very different types of high quality stalls are available from Craft*folK:
These may be customised to meet your needs using specially designed uprights for hanging baskets and participating banners etc. The wooden stalls may also be decorated to flavour your event by incorporating coloured fascias, bunting, garlands etc. Both types of stalls are stored as flat packs and are fabricated on site. Canvas Stalls Our traditional canvas stalls are not like market-type stalls, having the advantage of a pitched roof with integral canvas covering the back and sides, giving additional weather protection and hanging display space, as can be seen from the images on the left hand side of this page. They comprise of heavyweight steel framed units covered with red and white heavy duty canvas. They can be secured either by stakes, integral weights/counters or a combination of all three depending upon requirements and conditions. Canvas stalls will be supplied in a double occupancy configuration as follows: 16ft frontage by 8ft depth (5mfrontage x 2.5m depth) This configuration is classed as two single stalls as there is a metal frame dividing the stall into two with a removable black fabric partition attached, if required. Waterproof front sheets are also available if goods are to be left in situ overnight. Please note canvas stalls do not have floors. Wooden Stalls Wooden stalls retain the natural colour of tanalised wood with a pitched fibreglass slate roof. Two bi-fold doors allow additional hanging space under a 2ft front porch and an integral wooden floor stabilises the structure. Stalls will be supplied in a single occupancy configuration as follows: 8ft frontage by 8ft depth (2.5m frontage x 2.5m depth) with the addition of a 2ft front porch Accessories Also available for hire:
Quotes Our stall hire service includes all labour, insurance, transport, erection and dismantling. However, charges are quoted on an individual basis depending upon your requirements. For example, type of stall, venue, duration of your event, lorry access and road closures etc. Please contact us and we will be only too happy to deal with your specific requests and, if necessary, arrange a site visit to discuss your requirements further. Please note that due to the heavy duty nature of the stalls and the length of time taken to prefabricate them on site small, one day, events may not be economically viable. However, please contact us to discuss your requirements as if our lorry is already loaded for another event, it may be possible to offer you a competitive quote.
